Serena has been in the helping professions for over a decade. Due to a high TER (95.4) she was offered a scholarship to study Psychology where a high academic record was maintained. Following this she worked with long term unemployed clients and then moved into Management and HR. She then decided to specialise in face to face counselling so upgraded her qualifications by completing a Master in Counselling. For this she received the Valedictorian award and the Counselling achievement award. In 2010 she completed a Graduate Certificate in Professional Supervision where she received the Dean's Excellence Award for academic achievement. Serena is therefore well qualified and experienced as a Relationship & Sex Therapist for Individuals & Couples. 
 

She is a Clinical Member of Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of NSW (CAPA). She is on the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) National Register (Reg. # 20663).

Serena uses a range of counselling methodologies and draws on her experience to tailor an approach that meets the presenting needs of her clients.

At your first appointment she will work with you to set goals for counselling. She will also discuss the best therapeutic framework to ensure you feel comfortable with the direction of counselling.

With her warm empathic nature and non-judgemental approach, a space will be created for you to talk about things that are difficult to talk about.
